60th Anniversary Video Series

The 60th Anniversary Video Series is a series of 3 short videos that feature prominent alumni who have established themselves in their different fields.

A celebration of the special role that BPGHS has played over the past 60 years in helping students discover their interests and cultivate their talents, these videos aim to inspire current and future generations of BPians to scale new heights in pursuit of their passions and dreams.

The 1st of 2 videos is about BPians in the Arts. In this video, artist Tan Seng Kok and cinematographer/video producer Vinod Varma share what motivated them to turn their passion for the visual arts into successful careers and how they overcame the challenges encountered along the way. Together with several BPians from the Art Elective Programme, they reflect on the value of Art in nurturing important skills and enriching lives.

The second video is about BPians in Sports. In this video, Olympian Saiyidah Aisyah and SEA Games medallist Lim Shengyu recount how they discovered their gifts for rowing and playing basketball while studying at BPGHS. Tune in as they share the highs and lows of their journeys from school sportspersons to representing Singapore in the international sporting arena.
